On behalf of Takatuf’s Communications Team, I would like to welcome you to this first edition of the Takatuf Newsletter, a monthly publication that will seek to dive into the Human Capital conversation, sharing Takatuf’s news, updates and achievements.
Since 2013, Takatuf has worked alongside its clients as Oman’s strategic provider of innovative Human Capital solutions to respond to the country’s workforce development needs across sectors and within corporate and institutional projects.
This month, Takatuf highlights its projects underway to establish two, state-of-the-art technical training institutes and its rapid progress in bringing to market valuable investments that will enable the region’s energy and utilities sectors to accelerate the rate by which they train and employ the next generation of technical engineering professionals.
During a recent visit to the institutes, I shared my belief that Oman’s and the region’s push towards a greater role for In-Country Value is based largely on the development of its Human Capital and the potential of our labour force to effectively respond to our region’s fast-growing competitiveness.
I am excited to see ambitious plans of multibillion-dollar asset projects soon come to fruition across the region and I am most excited to see these projects led by an educated and skilled workforce that has benefitted from Takatuf’s important investments in Human Capital.
I invite you to explore Takatuf Petrofac Oman and The Oman Institute of Oil and Gas in this month’s newsletter.
Ibrahim Al Harthi,
Managing Director, Takatuf Oman
